A Sound Among the Trees by Susan Meissner - Review & Giveaway

Do I have a special book to offer you!  Whether you love Historical Christian Romantic Fiction or not you will absolutely love A Sound Among the Trees.  I guarantee it.  This is a book that transports you to modern day Virginia and quickly transports you to the Civil War era by way of letters.  It was a wonderful read that I highly recommend.

    My favorite part of the Thanksgiving, Autumn season - the awesome colors of the trees in our area. Also, by the US Thanksgiving we're usually done our harvest here in the Peace Country, so i'm thankful for the harvest.

    What I love best about Thanksgiving is getting together with family (and the pumpkin pie!).

    Oooh, this book jumped out at me because I recognized Susan's name, though I had to google her to see why (I've read her book White Picket Fences and enjoyed it). I love historical romances and this one sounds intriguing.

    My favourite thing about autumn... the colours. We just moved to Vancouver Island last year and I like the way everything changes slowly out here... fall seems to last for months instead of weeks. The other day, my daughter looked up at a tree that had lost its leaves and said, "That tree lost its leaves. That means its winter now. In winter the trees don't need their leaves." It made me laugh.

    I was born in October and am a fall baby. The colors astonish me and I so enjoy the first chill in the air...the frost is on the pumpkin, as is said. Of course, good hearty soups begin to add zest to our appetites and Thanksgiving Day the aroma teases our hunger sense until dinner is served. LOL Thank you for this great giveaway and the chance to win it.
