Wow! The weather the last couple of days, here in Northeast Indiana, has been wonderful. High 70's with a crisp breeze in the evenings. Too bad it's going to climb back into the 90's by the weekend. My poor old body has a hard time adapting to abrupt weather changes. I tend towards sinus infections every time the seasons change.
How do you contend with severe weather changes? Does your body adapt well or do you tend to have trouble adapting?
May you have a wonderful blessed day!
Thank you for stopping by. :)

Books by Sarah Sundin
I love books! I have a passion for the written word. I absolutely cringe when I see someone mistreat a book. My family knows that if they look at or read one of my books they MUST handle it with care. I know some of you might think that's a little strange, but I treat my books as the precious child of each author. I take care of them.
Once in awhile I come across a book that pulls me in and won't let me go. I think about it long after I've read the last sentence. "A Distant Melody", by Sarah Sundin is a book like that. I fell in love with the book from the moment i read the first page & found myself in Riverside, California...my hometown.

Ms. Sundin's characters come alive on the page. Her settings are well researched...she had me walking the streets of my old hometown as if I were right there. Her knowledge of a B-17 showed that she believes in doing thorough research.
Her newest book, "A Memory Between Us", is due to come out next month and I can hardly wait to purchase a copy.
If you haven't picked up a copy of "A Distant Melody" run to your local book store and pick up a copy today. You won't be sorry!

Children are smarter then you think!
We had two young children come to church today. We have a very small church so we don't have young children very often. I was their Sunday school teacher and I was blown away. The little girl is seven years old and her little brother is five. I read them the story of Noah and the Ark, then while they were coloring pictures of Noah and the animals, I asked them questions of what I had read to them and they both fed me back the story. I was quite impressed, especially since neither child have really attended Sunday School.
The rest of today I am going to just "veg". I'm tired. Couldn't sleep much last night. I lay there in bed most of the night creating a city in my mind. Why? Because my characters are badgering me to put their stories down on paper and they need a town to run around in. :) I'm getting closer to committing them...some of them need committed!
Well, I hope and pray you have a wonderful day today! Remember too that God loves you!
Smiles & Blessings to you all!
